Maggie Lepine

A native Tulsan, Maggie Lepine started volunteering with Poetic Justice in 2014. Her combined interest in criminal justice reform and creative writing first drew her to the organization, and the people she has met in Poetic Justice classes have sustained her involvement. Maggie is immensely grateful to be present for the stories shared during the classes she co-facilitates each week at the Washington County Jail. While she currently works in software in the private sector, Maggie has a background in public education, having studied English and Secondary Education at the University of Tulsa and taught English Language Arts in both middle and high school classrooms.
